Ok. Stop the bus. I love this Going Away Box by Leslie from Oh, the Fun…! Let’s start with the inspiration of wanting to give something to help an amazing 10th grade feel more at home during her trip to India. Seriously guys, a 10th grader in India for 20 weeks. And Leslie wanted to make her feel more comfortable about feeling away from home. As someone who travels for long periods of time, I think this is amazing. So what did she do? She gathered up all sorts of goodies and letters and broke them up into a package for each week. THIS IS AMAZING! Go now and read about this amazing project and the people behind it!
I’m no coffee drinker, but Earl assures me that this Toasted Marshmallow Iced Coffee by Nicole from Confectionalism looks simply divine. I think we’ll be putting some coffee in the fridge to make some this weekend. Yum! The perfect drink to make for a summer afternoon of sorting letters? I think so!
And finally, what do you need during all that sorting and coffee drinking? Why, an amazing DIY Compass Rose table of course! This table by Angie from The Altered Past is ah.maz.ing. I love it! If I hadn’t read the blog post, I might have guessed that she found something made like this and just spruced it up a bit. But nope – some good old elbow grease went into transforming this table from hum drum to map heaven. *dreams* One day I will own something like this. One day.
Well, that’s all for this week! Link up below and join in the party!
