Hey guys! They are done! The mittens have been completed and delivered to their intended recipient! *Happy dance* Most of the work was done when I was on vacation, so I didn’t’ get pictures of all the steps, but here are the ones I did get pictures of. Today I’ll just show you the rest of the pictures, and then later this week I want to create a finished post that has a collage of all the pictures and goes through each spell.
Hour 28.5 & 30: Expel and Sonorous

Hour 40: Sewing in the loose ends and lining the mittens
No picture here, but it’s worth mentioning. For the lining, I just cut out two pieces of felt that fit the interior, sewed them together, and attached them to the interior of the mittens. The lining only reaches to the top of the ribbing so that the bottom of the mittens still has the stretch and bounce of the mittens.
That’s it! As I said, they’ve since been delivered and are doing their job keeping hands warm. Stay tuned for the epic collage of all the pictures and an overview of all the spells on the O.W.L. mittens!
