What I’ve been up to!
Last week was quiet on the blog front. No worries though! I’ve got a fun and easy project coming up later today, and a few of my friends are sharing too! Stay tuned!
Welcome to Week 48!
We know that you are constantly looking for inspiration and we wanted be able to provide a place for you to come for inspiration! So every Wednesday hop on over here to Creative Spark Wednesday where FOUR blogs (that’s right, FOUR): Weekend Craft, My Paper Craze, Please Excuse My Craftermath, and Two Purple Couches, join together to feature projects, provide a place for bloggers to link up and a crafting/DIY hub of inspiration. So what is a Link Party? It’s the perfect opportunity to share YOUR projects and gain inspiration from other crafters who are linking up their own! PLUS, as a bonus, when you enter your projects into the link up, you could have your project featured by one of our blogs! Each week, we all choose our own features to post up and show the world AND pin your project to our Party Pinterest Board! Be sure to follow along to get the latest and greatest features from the parties!
Don’t forget to check out each page, since each of us chooses our own favorites to feature! If you like one of the projects featured here enough to pin it, please head over to the original source to do so. Thanks!

Strawberry Spinach Salad by BitznGiggles
It’s not quite strawberry season yet, when the best, sweetest little strawberries are right there for the picking, but that didn’t stop me from sharing this salad! You see, strawberries and spinach combined is one of my FAVORITE salads. Ask my mom – I hate leafy greens, but even as a kid I always liked spinach. And fresh spinach? Best. Leafy. Green. Ever. Add some strawberries? Salad heaven.
Rain Boot Door Decor by Lemons and Laughs
I come from out east, and I hear they’ve been having a “snowy” spring. (Seriously guys? That was really only a dusting the other day.) Here in MN, however, it was in the 60s yesterday. SOOO NICE! So these flowers ina boot made me smile and think of the warmth we’re having right now. Gotta love the super cute lady bug rain boots as well!
Scrap Wood and Spoon Wall Sconces by Reinvented
I want these! They are super creative! I really like things that you look at and go – “Hey! That’s so smart, and cool, and why didn’t I think of that?!” For me, these spoons turned candle holders are just that. One an unrelated note: anyone got any old spoons they don’t need anymore?
